Sweet Sourdough Workshop

Pull up a seat at my table for my new workshop series: From Scratch Fridays! All workshops are held here at my home, McKibbon Hollow, in sweet little Culleoka, TN. Due to popularity, I’m hosting TWO of these workshops (different dates, same Workshop).

You’ve asked several times over and now it is here - an advanced Sourdough Workshop, focused on enriched dough’s and shaping. This Workshop is best suited for participants who have previously taken my Rustic Sourdough Workshop. You must have foundational knowledge of working with wild-yeast sourdough and maintaining a healthy sourdough starter.

In this workshop, we will make, shape, and bake the following:

  • Sourdough French Loaves

  • Sourdough Sweet Rolls

  • Sourdough Cinnamon Roll Focaccia

  • Sourdough Chocolate Babka

Participants will get a demonstration on shaping each of these baked goods, and see it through the second rise and baking stages. Your workshop will include a packet of my sourdough recipes & resources. And, as always, we will enjoy these baked goods over tea/coffee!

Before you reserve your seat, please note:

  • This workshop runs longer than my others due to the proofing and baking process for each of these dough’s. Please be sure to plan accordingly.

  • Given that the nature of these workshops will focus heavily on instruction, I will not have childcare available for your little ones. Please make alternative arrangements for your children, so you can participate fully in the workshop.

  • This is a ticketed event. You must purchase your seat in advance, so that I can prepare enough materials and freshly baked treats.

  • All workshops must have a minimum of 4 attendees for the workshop to run. If the workshop is canceled due to attendance, you will be notified and refunded. 

  • Make sure to use an email you check frequently upon payment, as all details regarding the workshop will be sent there. An email with final details will be sent the week of your workshop.

  • We do have a dog in the home, please be aware in case of allergies. He will be crated during our workshop, as he is loving but still a very excitable puppy!
