Fed and maintained with a diet of fresh milled organic rye flour, this wild-yeast sourdough starter imparts a deep flavor when used for breads/bagels/crackers. She takes no time to double for you given that her rye flour is milled seconds before feeding (with no sifting).
Doughlores, as she is affectionately called, is the fresh milled sister to my beloved wild-yeast Culleoka Sourdough Starter, Doughlene.
